There’s no real thing to write about today, so I just got the idea of sharing a black and white photo as it seems like I just normally gravitated towards black and white in this blog section.
Given my love for analog film, having the chance to work with large format cameras has been absolutely great. This particular photo was accomplished by using a Sinar large format camera and a back mount with a digital adapter.
While it does not have the kind of detail that you can normally get out of a large format film photo – those are yet to come, although they are ready – working with a large-format camera and a digital inexpensive back allows for experimentation and immediate feedback and adjustments.
Weekend is class time so I am yet to see if I’ll be adding anything, but we’ll see.
