Over The Top Wrestling / OTT 4th Anniversary Show was arguably one of the biggest and best events in European Wrestling History. Not only did it feature a red-hot OTT Heavyweight Championship rivalry between Will Ospreay and WALTER (now known as GUNTHER in WWE), but it also welcomed a host of Japanese wrestling stars from New Japan Pro Wrestling.
This was both the first live wrestling show I ever attended and the first wrestling show I had the opportunity to shoot. I shot ringside with a prime lens while avoiding the hard cam and respecting the primary photographer.
This event featured names from NJPW such as Tetsuya Naito, EVIL, SANADA, Minoru Suzuki, Hirooki Goto, KUSHIDA, Gino Gambino, Mark Davis, Rocky Romero, Satoshi Kojima, and Will Ospreay; names from people that have since had a stint on WWE like Timothy Thatcher, KUSHIDA, WALTER (GUNTHER), Shane Strickland (Isaiah “Swerve” Scott on WWE and Swerve Strickland in AEW); homegrown talent like Angel Cruz, B. Cool, The Kings of the North, More Than Hype, Raven Creed, Sammy D, Paddy M, Michael May, among others.
