[ Extended Bio ]
João Pedreda is a photographer based in Porto, Portugal. His work is rooted in attention to place, atmosphere, behavior, and the subtle relationships between people, animals, and environments. He is drawn to the quieter side of things. The changing landscapes, field conditions, and the details that give a place or moment its weight.
Alongside long-form personal work, he is open to selected editorial commissions, documentary projects, and field-based assignments. His practice moves across environmental subjects, place-based stories, and situations where careful observation matters more than spectacle.
